Seattle Center Arena Renovation

The Seattle Center Arena project consists of renovating the existing arena and associated improvements to create a modern, multi-purpose entertainment and sports center that will host NHL and NBA sporting events. Specific construction phases include demolition, shoring and excavation, tunnel construction and groundwater well point dewatering.

Encore’s role as a consultant to Mortenson involves site-specific permitting for King County, City of Seattle and the Department of Ecology; site inspections for erosion and sediment control; water quality monitoring; water treatment prior to sewer discharge; and on-going environmental oversight and management for all trades involved in the project.
